John Clarke
John Clarke is the Business Development Director for Bob Marley’s One Love, with over 30 years of brand-development experience.
Clarke worked for WPP (Enterprise IG) developing new brands, as well as other brand agencies, before joining The Design Solution in 2012 to work on major airport and retail projects around the world.
He has led numerous commercial airport projects, including the retail and duty-free development of Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal and Dublin T2 for ARI. Over the last four years Clarke has been working with Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay on the commercial development and design of the airport in conjunction with ARUP.
Clarke also worked with the retail and F&B operators to design and implement new concepts. This has included collaborating with Margaritaville Caribbean Group and the Marley Family to develop the new ‘Bob Marley’s One Love’ hospitality brand, with a restaurant concept location that opened in July 2023 and a Dispensary that opened at the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston in 2023.
