USA/INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to announce world-leading travel experience player Avolta as a Platinum Partner for The Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference & Awards in Ontario, California on 25-26 June.

Hosted by Ontario International Airport, FAB is the only global airport food & beverage and hospitality event. Created in 2011, it attracts top industry figures from the thriving airport F&B sector, as well as hospitality service providers worldwide.

Avolta was formed in 2023 through the business combination of travel retail powerhouse Dufry and the world’s leading travel-related F&B player Autogrill.

Avolta’s portfolio now extends to 73 countries and more than 1,000 locations, with over 5,100 points-of-sale across three segments – duty free, food & beverage and convenience. These are spread across various channels, including airports, motorways, cruises and ferries, railway, border shops and downtown.

Across its estate, Avolta enjoys access to 2.3 billion passengers each year and employs more than 76,000 people.

Avolta CEO Xavier Rossinyol was among the headline speakers at last year’s Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference & Awards in Bangkok, Thailand. He is pictured presenting (above) and later during an on-stage conversation with Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie (below).

Avolta CEO Xavier Rossinyol said: “2024 marks our first year participating in the Airport FAB + Hospitality Conference as one company under our new name, Avolta, and we are proud to be taking on the role of Platinum Partner.

“Last year I had the privilege of experiencing FAB first hand, both as a delegate and as a keynote speaker. It was immediately clear the pivotal role that FAB plays in our sector – not only as the leading global F&B conference, but also as a valuable platform in offering a place to learn, to share, to connect and to spark innovation.

“FAB 2024 is poised to be a winning combination in North America. We look forward to spending time with our partners, peers and counterparts in the sector as we explore and celebrate our vibrant industry. Together we are committed to strengthening connections and working towards our grand vision of creating a travel experience revolution.”
