Tom Fricke
Tom Fricke is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience leading transformational change at businesses in the consumer products and retail sectors. He most recently stepped into the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors for OTG, where he’s spearheading the airport hospitality group’s long-term growth and stability initiatives following its acquisition by a private investor consortium led by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. and Centerbridge Partners, L.P.Fricke’s experience lies at the intersection of general management, international business and strategic planning. Prior to OTG, he served as CEO of Bar Louie, as well as President & CEO of HMSHost, where he reshaped the travel dining experience by creating a level of excellence in food & beverage, customer service, and innovation that was unmatched within the industry.
His executive leadership extends to a variety of previous roles including CEO of Cartridge World, CEO of The Smith’s Snackfood Company with PepsiCo in Australia, and President of Frito-Lay in Puerto Rico. Earlier in his career, Fricke gained hands-on experience by working for leading public and private businesses such as Bain and Company, Giant Eagle Supermarkets and The Home Depot.
Fricke is a versatile and transformational CEO who graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and went on to serve as a Naval Intelligence Officer. He later pursued his MBA at Stanford University. Fricke currently acts as an Advisor to and Principal of the New England Consulting Group, in addition to being a key member of New England’s restaurant, foodservice and hospitality practice teams.
