Grant Fleming

Grant Fleming is the Vice President of Food & Beverage at Qatar Duty Free (QDF), the award-winning retail operator at Qatar’s state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport (DOH) – voted World’s Best Airport and World’s Best Airport Shopping 2024 by SKYTRAX. Fleming spearheads the operations and strategic initiatives to elevate culinary experiences for more than 40 million passengers per year.

With more than 25 years’ experience spanning the hospitality and retail sectors, Fleming’s background includes serving as President of Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association, leading Strategic Partnerships at Lagardère Travel Retail, and heading up the food programme for Google’s APAC businesses with Compass Group.

He has worked in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, and is currently based in the Middle East. He has built a wealth of expertise and a global understanding of consumer behaviours and operational dynamics.

Fleming is passionate about exploring and shaping the future of food & beverage within the travel industry, inspiring innovation and driving impactful change. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, sharing food experiences, and deepening his knowledge on the speciality coffee industry and farming.
