As reported, the FAB Awards will be a highlight of the Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference, to be held on 12-13 September in Bangkok, Thailand. FAB’s remit has been extended to feature wider airport hospitality services including hotels and lounges.

FAB Superstars seeks to recognise and celebrate frontline and behind-the-scenes heroes and heroines in the industry, especially during this critical time when businesses are coping with the post-pandemic travel and consumer landscape.
The eligibility period for both the FAB Awards and FAB Superstars programme is 1 August 2022 to 1 July 2023. Other details on the entry requirements for the award programmes are available via this link.
Entries for both the FAB Awards and FAB Superstars will be assessed by an independent panel of judges comprising industry experts. The shortlisted finalists will be notified by mid-August. The winners of the FAB Superstars will be highlighted during the conference while winners of the FAB Awards will be announced at the event during the Gala Dinner.

In further details on the conference programme, Minor International Founder & Chairman William Heinecke will join previously-confirmed SSP Group Chief Executive Officer Patrick Coveney in a thought-provoking session titled ‘A Conversation on Purpose, Not Compliance’.
Vietcetera Media Chief Executive Officer Hao Tran joins IPP Group Chief Executive Officer Philip Nguyen in what promises to be a compelling session on the burgeoning Vietnam market.
CAVU Experiences Director Matt Etchells, Airport Dimensions Head of Business Development APAC Syaifullah Sarip and Plaza Premium Group Director of Global Brand and Transformation Mei Mei Song have also been confirmed as speakers.
