THAILAND/INTERNATIONALAn outstanding conference programme and speaker line-up is promised for the Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference & Awards to be held on 12-13 September 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.

FAB + Hospitality, founded by The Moodie Davitt Report in 2011, returns in physical form this year after a four-year absence due to the pandemic.

Following the announcement of SSP’s support as Platinum Partner for the event, CEO Patrick Coveney (below left) is confirmed as one of the keynote speakers.

An exciting tender update at Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan will be presented by Airports International Group Chief Commercial Officer Deema Anani (below right).

A breathtaking case study in ambition and execution by Qatar Duty Free (QDF) at Hamad International Airport will feature QDF Senior Vice President Thabet Musleh.

They are joined by Lagardère Travel Retail Executive Vice President Foodservice Mélanie Guilldou, one of the French F&B-to-retail powerhouse’s most highly rated executives.

Omer Alaettinoglu, CEO of dynamic and highly ambitious young Turkish airport services company Kepler Club, will address the fast-evolving role of airport hospitality as a key element of the consumer offer.

FAB has garnered welcome support from the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).

TCEB’s support of meetings, incentives, conferences and events has successfully established the country as one of Asia’s largest business event hubs.

FAB is dedicated to the burgeoning world of airport food & beverage. For the first time, this year’s event is expanded to include wider airport hospitality services provided by lounges, hotels and other providers.

The event will also celebrate the achievements and efforts of the sector with the highly coveted FAB Awards and people-focused FAB Superstars.

Nominations for the various award categories are now welcome through 31 July. Airport Food & Beverage Offer of the Year, recognising excellence and innovation in a total airport-wide F&B programme, has been added to the categories.
