
Mélanie Guilldou
Mélanie Guilldou has been leading Lagardère’s Travel Retail Foodservice business line – one of the Group’s three business lines along with Duty Free and Travel Essentials – since May 2016. Lagardère Travel Retail is a leading global company present in 42 countries, 285 airports and 700 railway/metro stations, achieving sales of €5.2 billion in 2022.
The Foodservice business line has been identified as a strategic activity within the company, with great expectations in terms of sales and business development. It is already the most dynamic one and new partnerships are constantly being built to enrich the brand portfolio of more than 200 brands (proprietary, partner and bespoke). In 2022 the Foodservice business line reached €937 million turnover with 1167 restaurants across 25 countries. Sales for 2023 should reach €1.3 billion.
Mélanie is a member of Lagardère Travel Retail’s Management Board. From January 2021 to February 2023 she was in charge of steering and implementing CSR Strategy within the Group, as EVP Foodservice and CSR.
A graduate of the EDHEC Business School, Mélanie has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing and business development in the retail and foodservice industries, gained at major French and international players such as Agapes Group, Sodexo, SSP and Carrefour Property. Within Sodexo she was Head of Marketing for B&I in France before joining SSP as Marketing and Business Development Director for France, Belgium and Netherlands. She then joined Carrefour Property as Innovation, Marketing and Retail Letting Director.
