SPAIN. The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to announce that the 2025 Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference and Awards will be staged in Barcelona, Spain on 25-26 June.

The event will be hosted by Spanish airports operator Aena, with venues to be confirmed.

The much-anticipated event will bring together senior executives from airports, food & beverage concessionaires and hospitality service providers, as well as business partners from around the world.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network, share insights and discuss the latest trends and innovations in the airport F&B and hospitality sectors.

The 2025 event will build on the rich history of FAB as it returns to Europe. The first edition took place in Manchester in 2011, followed by Amsterdam, Dubai, Copenhagen, Geneva, Toronto, Helsinki, Dallas, Bangkok (after a COVID-related four-year pause in 2023) and Ontario, California in June 2024.

The world’s leading airport company by total passenger numbers, Aena manages 64 airports across its global footprint including 46 in Spain, and hosts more than 100 retail and F&B partners around the globe.

From January to October 2024, Aena airports in Spain served over 266 million passengers, up +9.4% year-on-year, while flight movements reached 2.2 million, an increase of +7.6%.

Aena’s airports across its global network have recorded over 316 million passengers during the ten-month period, reflecting an +8.6% year-on-year increase.

Commercial revenue for the first nine months of 2024, bolstered by growth in sales from commercial activities, reached €1,323.4 million (US$1,392.75 million), an increase of +16.6% compared to the same period in 2023.  ‍
