Laura E. FitzRandolph
Laura E. FitzRandolph is Chief People and Culture Officer, North America, of Avolta, a leading global travel experience player. FitzRandolph was promoted to this role in 2023 following the business combination between Dufry and Autogrill, parent companies of Hudson and HMSHost, respectively. In this role, FitzRandolph oversees people and culture for Avolta across the region.
She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for HMSHost. FitzRandolph joined HMSHost in 2016 from global hotel management company Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where she was most recently EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer. FitzRandolph joined Interstate in 2006 and held roles focusing on talent acquisition, development and learning, compensation and benefits, associate and labour relations, and employment legal matters.
Prior to joining Interstate, FitzRandolph was Counsel in the labour and employment group of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. She is a former Deputy Director of Correspondence in the White House Office of Scheduling and Advance, and served on the staff of United States Senator Alan Cranston.
FitzRandolph holds a B.A. in Political Science and Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkley, and a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. She serves as an Employer Trustee for UNITE HERE HEALTH and has been a panelist and speaker for hospitality conferences including Georgetown Lodging Summit, HR in Hospitality, and the American Lodging Investment Summit.
