
Andrew Weddig
Andy is an airport concessions industry thought-leader with 24 years of experience planning, developing and managing airport dining and shopping programs at more than 40 North American airports. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Airport Restaurant & Retail Association (ARRA), the trade association of U.S. airport restaurant and retail concessionaires.
ARRA’s mission is to promote sound policies and practices that further the success of airport concessions businesses and elevate the travel experience. As ARRA’s chief policy, program, and administrative officer, Andy works collaboratively with the association’s Board of Directors and members, as well as the broader airport community, on operational, financial, and policy matters of common interest to concessionaires, airports, and all stakeholders in the industry’s ecosystem.
Prior to accepting his appointment at ARRA, Andy worked at Paradies Lagardère where he directed the company’s Dining Division business development activity. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and leader of the retail planning and management practice of Unison Consulting. Andy earned a BA in Economics and Master of Management degrees, both from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
