Istanbul Airport

Istanbul Airport started full operations on 6 April 2019. The airport remains under construction, on an area of 76.5 million sq m to the north of Istanbul, for further phased openings. It is strategically positioned between Turkey’s East and West; some 130 destinations in 60 countries are within three hours’ reach. Istanbul Airport is ‘Turkey’s door to the world’ and the region’s largest hub.

When all phases are complete, Istanbul Airport will offer flights to over 300 destinations with a passenger capacity of 200 million. Istanbul Airport’s duty free zone features more than 1,000 international luxury brands and a food & beverage court, which includes a Michelin Star chef’s restaurant.

Istanbul Airport continues to work ceaselessly to maximise passenger satisfaction and offer a unique experience as the most significant hub in its region, with all its physical and technological infrastructure and service quality.

We look forward to hosting you with our newest services as you wait for your next flight. The world is your home now. Welcome to Istanbul Airport.
