Ronny Gjøse is a seasoned food industry professional, with expertise in developing and growing successful restaurant chains and concepts.
Fired by his passion for innovative food concepts, taking on new challenges and leading strategic change, in 2017 Ronny joined up with the co-founders of fast-casual Norwegian chain Pink Fish.
Armed with a combination of confidence, a passion for quality, a focus on providing new experiences, experience of the catering business and commitment to succeed, his ambition is to make Pink Fish the first genuinely global fast-casual seafood chain.
His aim is to help today’s generation of customers on the move to enjoy tasty salmon and seafood dishes in a completely new way, making the experience fun, fast and accessible, with environmentally friendly and sustainable packaging.
Educated as both chef & sommelier, Ronny has held senior management positions at numerous hotel and catering companies. These include the Rezidor Hotel Group, Coastal Express (Hurtigruten), Spitsbergen Travel, Blender (a subsidiary of Umoe Restaurants, Scandinavia’s largest restaurant group) and HMSHost-Umoe, a joint venture between HMSHost International and Umoe Restaurants, where he took the lead in securing contracts with more than ten F&B concepts at Oslo and Bergen airports.
