Regynald G. Washington, CFBE, FMP
Regynald G. Washington is a former elected officer and Board member of the National Restaurant Association and served as chairman of the board.
He is currently President of Paradies Lagardère Dining Division, an Atlanta-based restaurant and travel retail company operating 174 restaurants in 43 airports across the USA and Canada with revenue in excess of US$350 million.
Paradies Lagardère has over 80 popular, widely recognised brands in its portfolio. Regynald spent 12 years of his career with the Walt Disney Company. He was Vice President of Food and Beverage for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts with F&B responsibilities for Parks and Resorts in numerous worldwide locations. Before this he was Director of Resort Food and Beverage Operations for the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando, Florida, where he was responsible for F&B operations at 18 resorts.
Previously as Corporate Executive Vice President Regynald directed the overall operations of Concessions International, Inc., an airport food service company based in Georgia operating F&B, gift & news and duty free operations in US airports.
Regynald is a graduate of Florida International University, holding a BS degree in International Hotel & Restaurant Administration. He has earned dual certification as a Foodservice Management Professional through the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and as a Certified Food & Beverage Executive, a credential issued by the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association. He has personally endowed scholarships for Georgia State University’s Cecil B. Day Hospitality School, where the Master’s programme is now named ‘The Regynald G. Washington Master of Global Hospitality and Management Program’.
