Rachel Bulford is Head of Retail at London Gatwick Airport, where she oversees Gatwick’s 82 shops.
These include Harrods, Ted Baker, SuperDry and Jo Malone, and 36 restaurants including Comptoir Libanais and Bruno Loubet’s Grain Store Café and Bar.
A Cambridge graduate, Rachel started her career at leading UK retailer Marks and Spencer where she held a number of different roles including working in UK stores and latterly in international development in India, South Korea, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. Rachel then continued her career within the retail operations team of luxury fashion retailer Burberry, working in in emerging markets.
After achieving an MBA with distinction at London’s Cass Business School Rachel went on to work at OC&C Strategy Consultants where she undertook a number of assignments across FMCG, hospitality and retail. She then headed the central operations and store proposition team at leading home-improvement retailer Homebase before taking up her current role at London Gatwick Airport.
