As Director of Commercial Development at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, Mike Ross is responsible for leading the implementation of Toronto Pearson’s retail, advertising and sponsorship strategies.
He is accountable for developing and implementing an advertising and sponsorship approach that is designed to enhance the passenger experience while growing revenues.
For both retail and food & beverage there is significant focus on identifying the right mix of products and brands to bring positive changes to the current programme and exceed expectations. A key mandate is to recruit new business partners to the airport as well as to strengthen existing relationships.
Prior to joining GTAA in 2011 Mike has held senior merchandising and marketing roles with many recognised Canadian retail brands, including The Hudson Bay Company, Rexall and Canadian Tire. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
