In his current role Kevin continues to maintain responsibility for group functions in addition to leading ELR’s growth and development.
Kevin Zajax commenced his career in private practice, becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia. He also holds a Masters Degree in Commerce.
Kevin moved into commerce in corporate reporting roles before moving to Coca-Cola Amatil (a major public company listed in the Top100 companies on the Australian Stock Exchange). He was heavily involved in the company’s acquisition activities, as well as holding a variety of senior roles covering finance, supply chain and operations.
In late 2008 Kevin moved to Dubai to take up the role of Chief Financial Officer for Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR). He expanded that role to take on additional responsibilities for procurement, property and Information Technology for both ELR and sister-company Maritime Mercantile International.
In his current role Kevin continues to maintain responsibility for group functions in addition to leading ELR’s growth and development. In particular, Kevin has been instrumental in driving ELR’s progress in the travel retail sector in the Middle East and Australia, and more recently he has driven the company’s successful expansion into Asia.
Kevin is a director on the boards of the Singapore and Australia divisions of ELR.
