Kathy Casey is a celebrated chef, mixologist, and trail blazing entrepreneur. Often touted as the original Bar Chef, Kathy has been named one of the top ten most influential bar people of the past 25 years. She is also a James Beard nominee and a Julia Child award winner, and early in her career was named a Food & Wine ‘Hot New American Chef’.
Kathy is the owner of Kathy Casey Food Studios – Liquid Kitchen, a full-service global agency specialising in food & beverage and concept development, as well as training and concept roll-outs. Her clients range from AccorHotels and California Pizza Kitchen to Norwegian Cruise Line and Sodexo.
With over a decade of airport experience running her licensed concepts Dish D’Lish (featuring healthy ‘Food T’ Go Go’) and Rel’Lish Burger Lounge, a full-service restaurant and bar, Kathy has more recently co-founded 1915 KCHouse Concepts, a women-owned airport restaurant operations company. Its first concept, Lucky Louie Fish Shack – a quick-serve seafood restaurant – opened in Seattle-Tacoma Airport’s Central Terminal in March.
An author of more than ten cookbooks, she is also a savvy culinary and beverage trend spotter. Kathy is a frequent guest speaker at national hospitality conventions.
